We are back Tuesday and ready to break your faces with words and such. If you've been keeping up you know that last week Shawn Randall won putting Taylor Mali in his 3rd week at 2nd place. Will Taylor Win this next one or will someone else Patrick Ewing him??
PLUS (and moreover) we also have the MIGHTY MIKE MCGEE on the track, sun!!
Bio:
Born in Fort Campbell, Kentucky, McGee is the oldest of eight children from several marriages. He has spent most of his life in and around San Jose, California, where he started his career in spoken word, poetry slam and performance poetry in 1998. McGee is the first slam poet to win both the American National Poetry Slam Individual Grand Championship (2003) and the Individual World Poetry.

Yea. We are at the end of the road leading to the National Poetry Slam! So join us for the summer closeout show where we have our 2012 Team (Joanna Hoffman! Jared Singer! Jeanann Verlee! Ingamar Ramirez!) perform a feature set before we get into our first ever Call Out Slam!
It will be tournament style. A poet will be randomly selected and will have to call out another poet participating in order to advance. We've got CASH and other things on the line. Here are the poets you'll be hearing from in the slam:
