Karen Finneyfrock has been on four national slam teams and toured internationally as a spoken word artist. In 2010, Karen visited Nepal as a Cultural Envoy through the US State Department. Her second book of poems, Ceremony for the Choking Ghost, is available on Write Bloody press and her young adult novel, Celia, the Dark and Weird, is due from Viking Children’s Books, a division of Penguin in 2012.
