Rudy Francisco is a native of San Diego California who absorbs his experiences and transforms them into poetry. He travels the country sharing his stories at colleges universities and showcases. Rudy has been a member of the Hollywood Poetry Slam Team, the San Diego Poetry Slam Team and is the 2010 Individual World Poetry Slam Champion

CRISTIN O'KEEFE APTOWICZ is the author of five books of poetry, all currently available on Write Bloody Publishing, as well as the non-fiction book, "Words In Your Face: A Guided Tour Through Twenty Years of the New York City Poetry Slam" (Soft Skull Press, 2008). She founded the NYC-Urbana Poetry Slam at the age of 19, and has appeared on four NYC-Urbana Team and served at its 2010 WOWps rep. Most recently, she was named the 2010-2011 ArtsEdge Writer-In-Residence at the University of Pennsylvania and was awarded a 2011 National Endowment for the Arts Fellowship for Poetry. The series runs from 6PM sharp to 6:30PM when we'll switch it over to our WORDSHOP for the evening, so arrive early to sign up and celebrate Ginsberg's work with us! Note: This portion of the evening is entirely free unless you are so inclined to make a donation of which 100% goes to the NAROPA: The Jack Kerouac School of Disembodied Poetics which was founded by Allen Ginsberg and Anne Waldman in Colorado!

Jared Paul is writer, organizer, and journalist from Providence, Rhode Island. He is a two time Individual World Poetry Slam Finalist, and an internationally touring performance artist having given over 500 performances across the U.S., Canada, and Europe since 2004. He is also a vocalist for the Providence band, Prayers For Atheists (PFA), who record and tour as part of the Strange Famous Records collective run by Hip Hop legend, Sage Francis.
